In the realm of “how did that happen?”, music truly is the universal language and common ground for people everywhere.

With the Swedish elections around the corner, my buddy, who is originally from Sweden and an active member of the party, wanted a little help documenting his voting experience here in Canada.

We shot a short video, and I decided to add a sample of ‘Morning Has Come’ for a little musical background flare. Voila! We submitted it to the party website for fun but caught the attention of some of the party organizers who wanted to feature the song on a few other promo clips.

Now I don’t expect to play at the inaugural ceremony once the elections are done… but it was cool to see my music being featured by a political party on the other side of the world!  Watching the vids, as my blonde and blue-eyed friends plugged for their party; and my music played subtly in the background; I could only grin and think to myself… “Hey – whatever you have planned God J…”
