Great news! My song ‘HEAVEN’ has been chosen as one of 5 Finalists for Virgin Radio Montreal’s Songwriting Competition!

Your support means a lot, as the winner will be competing for the Nationals this March at Canadian Music Week in Toronto!!!

Youthfest Montreal featuring Jaysun Penalosa
In collaboration with IcanSeeMyBreath.com, I’m soooo excited to say that we shot my first music video!
We hit the roof tops of Old Montreal and graced the stage of Oscar Peterson (Concordia University) to film ‘NEVER‘ (off my EP and on iTunes ).

Went to see Stevie Wonder at the Montreal Jazz Fest last night. As the official opener for the festival’s 30 year anniversary, despite the thunderstorm warnings and the estimated 100 to 200 thousand people showing up; myself, my wife and a few good friends… trudged through the endless horde of concert-goers to attempt to see the musical genius onstage. 
Unfortunately due to the sheer density of the crowd, we never made it to the stage, but gladly settled for one of the many stages projecting the nearby performance on big screen. We stood our ground for about 1 and half hours even through the rain and the many umbrella-spoke-blows to the head!
The rain subsided right before the performance started; and the opening/MJ tribute concert began… I was all for it… except for the part where Stevie literally played the CD recording of “The Way You Make Me Feel”.
